In conjunction with EarthDay 2022, Groundfloor Guemes will again facilitate an Island Cleanup Day. This year the event will take place on Saturday, April 23rd, from 1 pm to 3 pm.  

Come to the Schoolhouse Park at the corner of Guemes Island Road and Edens Road to select from a list of designated beaches and roadways. Trash collection bags and tongs are being provided by Skagit Public Works.

Alternately, you are invited to clean your own beach or roadway and bring the collected trash to the park no later than 3 pm. Skagit Public Works will haul the trash off the island.
