Anne Barrett Passarelli

Anne Barrett Passarelli, 85, passed away February 6, 2020 at Island Hospital in Anacortes, surrounded by her loving family.

Anne was grew up in Chappaqua, NY, and attended Radcliffe College and UC Berkeley before beginning her career as a librarian at the University of Washington.

She and husband, Don Passarelli, bought their home on Guemes in 1987 and moved up full time in the early 2000’s. Anne was active in many aspects of Guemes life—among them the Guemes Island Community Church, the library, local book club, bridge club, the former Guemes Tide newsletter and others.

She was a master gardener, a lover of classical music, and completed the New York Times crossword puzzle daily.

A memorial service will be held at Guemes Island Community Church on Saturday, May 30th, with a reception to follow after the service.
