NOTICE OF DECISION

For 

Guemes Island Community Center Association (GICCA) File # PL21-0180

Notice is hereby given that on November 3, 2021, the Skagit County Hearing Examiner approved the Special Use and Temporary Events permit (PL21-0180) to designate two parcels as a Community Park and to authorize events at the Guemes Island Community stage.  The proposed project is located within the Rural Reserve (RRv) and Guemes Island Overlay zoning/comprehensive plan designated area as indicated in the Skagit County Comprehensive Plan and associated maps adopted July 5, 2016. Located at 6561 Guemes Island Road, Anacortes, within a portion of Section 1, Township 35N, Range 1E W.M., situated within Skagit County, Washington  (P60874 & P60877).

Pursuant to Skagit County Code 14.06.200, the Notice of Decision shall be forwarded to parties of record, the applicant and other applicable parties of interest. 

The applicant and/or a party of record may request a reconsideration within 10 days of the decision or appeal the decision of the Hearing Examiner to the Skagit County Board of Commissioners pursuant to the provisions of Section 14.06.110.  Parties with standing to request a reconsideration or appeal must submit the appeal form and appeal fees to the Planning and Development Services Department within 14 calendar days of the date of the Decision.
